I wanted to find out why some women used to always wear a safety pin on their apron, so I asked the question of the Vintage Apron FlickR group. Today I was checking out Apron Queen and she had linked to my original question and asked others to comment on her page. Check it out here . Scroll down the page past the lovely embroidered tea apron. Let me know if you post a comment.
I am not great with the computer. ( I can't even figure out how to get the "I Pledge to Rate" badge onto my Swap-Bot profile.) So I'm totally confused as to where I go from here. But I would love to share aprony things with others who love them, so I will give this a try. Maybe my 11 year-old can help me.
I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. I began blogging to share my love of aprons. Now I use my blog to share all the things I love.
I learned to sew when I was 11 years old and it's still my favorite hobby. I adore vintage everyday items. I can spend hours poking around a flea market or antique store. I am a stay at home mom, and after homeschooling my son for seven years, I'm finding more time to craft and sew. I have been happily married since 1991. I live in the town I was born in and most of my family live only minutes away.
