My Blog Ribbon & A Quilt Show

I first saw a blog ribbon on Creative Breathing's wonderful blog. She gives credit to Magpie Ethel for the idea. No matter who started the idea, I decided to jump on the bandwagon. So after days of searching for the perfect image, deciding on colors and trims, here is my Blog Ribbon! As always, click on the picture for a closer look.

Lucky me, today was spent with a good friend at a quilt show. I'd like to share some pictures of my favorite quilts. There was one display that was filled with 1930s original and reproduction quilts. Enjoy this vintage sweetness.

And more '30s inspired quilts.
So many talented people!

Hi Linda Ruthie! I absolutely love your blog ribbon! I made one too, but you won't see it because I'm just not happy with it, and need to start over. I've been looking through your blog, and I must say that you are very talented! And anyone who can make their own apron pattern is someone to be admired. You make me want to take up sewing again!
Have a great day!

Hi Linda Ruthie. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog...I have followed you back!

I love your sweet button. I want to make one too! I saw them last year when House of Whimsy made them for the Farm Chicks show. She asked everyone to wear them so they could spot each other. It must have been fun!

Loved visting today...I will be back soon!

Stay Cozy, Carrie
